New York anti-smoking campaign continues...

News from the American city of New York.

Despite heavy handed implementation of indoor smoking bans throughout the city taking away freedom of choice for cafe, pub, nightclub and restaurant owners, it seems it isn't enough to placate the "anti" brigade.

In a move more reminiscent of intolerance than anything else, the local authorities of New York have taken anti-smoking to new heights and have introduced an almost total outdoor ban on smoking. 

The majority of outside destinations including beaches, municipal parks and even Times Square have become tobacco-free.

The forced cleansing of smokers has begun.
